We’re Bringing Clouds Durham Back—Better Than Ever!

Dear CLOUDS Club Members & Valued Guests,

Big things are happening at Clouds Brewing – Durham, and I want you to hear it directly from me.

My name is Jonathan Munsell, and I’ve recently stepped in as the Chief Operating Officer here at Clouds Brewing. Alongside me is Tim McNamara, our new General Manager, a respected hospitality leader with deep roots in the Triangle area. Together, we’re on a mission to not just bring Clouds back to its former glory—but to build something even better.

We Got It Wrong—And We’re Fixing ItLet me be the first to say it: we made a mistake.

When we shifted to a limited service model in Durham to make room for more gaming and entertainment, we underestimated how that change would affect your overall dining experience. While the games brought energy and fun, the trade-off in full-service hospitality was something we deeply regret.

That changes now!

We’re bringing back true, full-service dining—with more energy, better training, and higher hospitality standards than ever before. So whether you're here for a meal, a beer, a birthday, or just to play Skee-Ball with your crew, you’ll be taken care of from the moment you walk through the door.

Expanded Hours & A New Midday Experience

We’re also expanding our hours to serve a more robust lunch crowd, so you can count on us whether you’re sneaking away from work for a bite or meeting friends for a midday brew. Stay tuned for the official launch of our new lunch hours—coming very soon and keep a special eye out for “Lunch Bunch” alerts. More on that later.

A New Menu That Hits Nothing But Home Runs

Our kitchen team is currently hard at work re-engineering our menu to deliver only the best of the best. Think greatest hits—our most craveable dishes, dialed up for flavor, quality, and consistency. And yes, we’ll be featuring daily food specials, new drink deals, and of course, our award-winning beer lineup.

And one thing that’s not changing—but only getting better?

Our burgers.

We’ve been nominated for Best Burger in Durham, and we’re not stopping there. You can expect even more burger magic with the launch of our new Burger Challenge, coming soon. Whether you’re a purist or an adventurous eater, this is one tasty upgrade you won’t want to miss.

This Friday: Our First Ever Member-Only Thank You Event!

We’re hosting a FREE Appetizer Buffet in the bar and cocktail area this Friday from 5–7 PM—but it’s only for CLOUDS Club members. So be sure to sign up - It’s FREE!

And because we’re all about second chances, we’re extending the FREE Appetizer Buffet to every Friday in May to celebrate YOU.
